DeepSeek
Design analysis
This shows the desktop version of DeepSeek for the week of 2026-09-07, before scrolling. There is no sidebar, only a small logo and three icon buttons at the top left. A notice above the message box says some modes were merged and upgraded. A large greeting with a blue whale shape stands out most on the screen. The hint text inside the message box is lighter than a common accessibility guideline recommends. You start in the message box in the middle of the screen. There are no suggested prompts. No note that it can make mistakes is visible.
