DeepSeek
Design analysis
This shows the desktop version of DeepSeek for the week of 2026-08-24, before scrolling. A sidebar on the left takes up about a fifth of the screen width. The message box is the largest item on the screen. The hint text inside the message box is lighter than a common accessibility guideline recommends. The outline of the message box is hard to see against the background. The greeting says good afternoon and asks what you would like to chat about. Three buttons above the message box offer different modes. There is no note that it can make mistakes.
