Design analysis
This shows the desktop version of DeepSeek for the week of 2026-10-19, before scrolling. The message box sits in the middle of a mostly empty dark screen. It is the largest item on the screen. Above it, a greeting in Chinese says hello and asks how it can help. The greeting is bright enough against the background to meet a common accessibility guideline. The hint text inside the message box is lighter than a common accessibility guideline recommends. Two buttons below the hint text offer deep thinking and smart search. There is no note that it can make mistakes. The greeting text differs from the week of 2026-10-12.
