Design analysis
This shows the desktop version of ChatGPT for the week of 2026-08-17, before scrolling. The sidebar takes up about a fifth of the screen width. The message box sits in the middle, under the line "Ready when you are." The message box is the largest item on the screen. The main heading is dark enough against the light background to meet a common accessibility guideline. The gray hint text in the message box is lighter than a common accessibility guideline recommends. The outline of the message box is hard to see against the background. No note that it can make mistakes is visible on this screen.
