Perplexity
Design analysis
This shows the desktop version of Perplexity for the week of 2026-09-07, before scrolling. A dark sidebar on the left takes up about a fifth of the screen width. The message box is the largest item on the screen. The heading above it asks "What do you want to know?" The labels on the mode buttons stand out enough to meet a common accessibility guideline. The outline of the message box is hard to see. There are no suggested prompts on the screen. There is no note that it can make mistakes.
